J. J. Lynn is an urban fantasy author. Her first book is A Parliament of Owls, headlining her Simone Ravenscroft series. She started her writing journey young but got distracted with college and becoming a licensed professional counselor on the side. When she's not giving amazing guidance in a session, she spends her time with her family: husband, two boys, one girl, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 ball pythons, bearded dragon, fish, and axolotl. She currently resides in North Texas, where she hides from the heat indoors for 9 months out of the year.

The main character is presented in a way that has you rooting for her throughout the book. The story moves smoothly through how she finds out who she is and what her legacy has in store for in the future...
